before i got my 02 i had shot him an email and i took him him a few days to get back to me. that was about 3 weeks ago. by then i had alredy found the one i wanted. he seems like a nice guy. he told me the lowest he would come down was 12.5k i guess he has changed his mind.

For those who do not know me... and some of those who do, please do not take offense to this comment. Many on this forum will tell you that I like to joke and tease quite a bit. Though still a great car, some say even better than the AP1 I do like to give the AP2 a hard time.
AP2 drivers.. please do not take my comments personally, it is all in good humor. Perhaps my S2Ki mindset is a bit old school when everyone in the Mid-A Community was close friends and joking/teasing/poking fun was common amongst the members. 90% of my comments should not be taken seriously... 100% of my negative comments should be taken with a grain of salt, I kid a lot!

I'll be up in Woodbridge tomorrow, helping a friend pick up some stuff from IKEA. Was hoping to meet up with him while I was there to check out the car.

Good luck Chad! I've been lurking around here a little bit because I'm thinking about getting back into the S2K game as well. I still have the 335i which I'm going to keep... but I kinda want a weekend toy as well and the S2K is perfect for that. The 335i as a daily and the S2K as a weekend warrior would be pretty close to a perfect combo (well a CLS63 AMG as a daily and a 997 Turbo as a weekender would be the perfect combo, but you know what I mean). Of course I have to convince the wife that spending $12K-$15K on a car that I'm not even going to drive all the time is a good idea, which is gonna be hard to do. That, and I'm still really partial to the AP2, and want to find a nice and clean 04-05 for the price I want to spend. So I'm not really as ready to pull the trigger as you, but I do have the itch to have an S2K again.
