Default WTB: Racing Seats

Hey all. I'm in the market for a pair of fixed back race seats for my car. Just wondering what's out there at the moment. Current FIA certification is preferred. At the very least, I'd like a seat that was FIA, but expired.

My budget is ~$1200, but I'd like to spend less than that if possible. Feel free to reply in here, or send me a PM.

Thanks

If you buy recaro pole positions it will be impossible to use the factory 3pt harness w/o modifying the mounting bracket for the buckle receptacle on the seat rail... ask me how I know

So set aside a 100 bucks or so for that if you buy the RPP. Other than that I love them. You're about 75lbs wet so I don't think you'll have a prob finding a seat you can fit in lol.

Thanks for the info. Pole positions would be really nice. I've sat in a few before, and I liked them a lot. I'd have to get a pretty sweet deal for them to be in my price range though.

Do not PM me... box is full, but thanks, Tom.

I didn't get the chance to meet up with Alison tonight to see if they would fit her needs. I can tell you that the pair are way below your budget... with Taitec rails.

Btw, Sparco Rev Plus x 2

Well, assuming I fit the seats, I'm interested, Skip. Get in touch once you've met with Alison... Actually, if you happen to be meeting somewhere more on her half of the Mid-A, I might be able to stop by and have a sit in them. I promise not to steal the seats if she ends up wanting them

She's a bit ill at the moment, however, I think the plan is for this Saturday after I get of work and finish up with Lou(Budman05).
