I've got red seats out of my 2000 S2k . . . they've got just over 102k miles on them. They're not perfect, but pretty good, some spidering on the bolsters due to age, but no tears or anything like that

Those netami seats say they hold up to a 38" waist. But the set of two seats cost 380....

 

This is easy to address; I won't vouch for their quality, I'll let the seats speak for themselves. They are extremely comfortable, high quality and capable of going into an S in many different positions, the three most important things you are looking for. As for value, $400 and the material+labor to design and fabricate your seat mounts should be more than an even swap. There is no travel costs associated, we're within 45 minutes of each other.
