Hi all...I'm confused about the s2000 engines i thaught that my car is 2.2L I have 2007 model but aguy works in a tunning garage told me that the engine in Middle east is 2.0 he asked me to give him my engine number its started with f20 saw he told me its 2 L engine im not sure because Honda Oman showroom have very old catlogs and I want to buy somemods saw can some one explains to me the engine types and model years please?

 

I just checked under my hood I found its F20 as the guy told me and under it AP1..im shocked how is this ..as I knew before that 2004+ comes 2.2L..I guess maybe in Middle east it comes only in 2.0L
I found in Honda.com the engine is 2.2L!!
btw my RPM goes till 9k

 

wowiii....as far as i know the ones in north america are 2.2L and AP1 is the old school S2K.

North America got the 2.2 in the AP2 (2004) => everyone else has the 2.0 (Europe, Middle East, Japan...)

I believe the S2000 CR due out in 2008 will have the F22 globally. Then it only remains to see if it will be imported to the Middle East.

saw anyone drove the 2.2L is it better then the 2.0?

 

ME comes 2.0 litre for all. there are couple of imported 2.2 litre cars around.
