Your ECU part/model number is 37820-PCX-G13 ... i already sent it to Hondata plus the ECU pinouts and the diagram

scroll up a little to find what was their reply ..... could be done on your car but it is a long route, they are ready to place the order for you if you are really interested .... and you will be dealing direclty with hondata and not with a dealer, cus it is first time issue

Hi MySuzuka
What is the difference between a 37820-PCX-G06 (what I have) and a G13?
Anything that would make Hondata have to make something ECU specific?

Also - do you have a source for getting the diagram's of the ECU's

Thx

MySuzuka 02-23-2009 12:37 PM

In order to know the differences I have to look at your ECU diagrams, you can get it from the dealer service manual if you know some one who works there in your country

I think G06 up to G13 are very similar since our cars are very close to UK specs

For example the difference between US ECU and Euro ECU in the diagram is the air pump, where they dont have air pump in US

Hondata does not have those diagrams, thats why they did not make a Kpro for your car, but they will do it if some one provide them with such infomation, contact them if you are ready to proceed, they may ask you to send them your ECU for testing and wiring

This looks interesting.

do you know if any one has tried it?

i didn't see any information about applications or dyno results or any claim that this should work on a specific car !!!

i did not see any thing related to vtec as well

Gaspode 03-18-2009 12:47 PM

No idea.
Edit - Nissan GTR, Subura, Evo's use them with good results.

I'm meeting with Mase in a couple of weeks time.
He thinks he might have a DBW solution. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say.

A few of us in the UK are investigating if there is an ECU that can work with DBW.

Could be an interesting few weeks.

MySuzuka 03-18-2009 12:57 PM

Many of Kuwait and middle east s2k DBW owners are investigating for such a thing as well

let us know what mase will tell you, hope he tried the new Kpro on the UK/Euro DBW s2k

Also been speaking to Vipec.
They have a DBW S2000 turbo racing in Australia. So the F20C DBW is well known to them.

Their UK distributor is 5 minutes from my house - so I'm seeing them tomorrow.

He sees no issue with using the Vipec to run a turbo or S/C DBW S2000, and is happy to install any kit.
The guy is well recognised among the UK car tuning fraternity also

We could be onto something.

Also - I got an email from EMS today.

Scott,

We plan to support the DBW S2000 model in the new AEM EMS we have coming
out later this year. The first application will be the Toyota Supra. I'm
unsure of a release date for the S2000 however it is a planned
application.

Anybody works on AEM EMS in Kuwait or within the region need to know before I get my hopes high

MySuzuka 03-19-2009 03:07 PM

not in Kuwait, maybe in the UAE, there is also one AEM EMS tuner in KSA but still not for DBW

I think it is better to wait more, start saving money for 1 $ 2,000 ECU
