I would suggest heading to the 'under the bonnet' or 'forced induction' forums on this site. Then search using the search tool. This will help you as much as anything or anyone!

As far as personal exprience with a friends set-up, all he did was slap the vortec on and changed the head bolts, and it was fine.

HOWEVER, I don't think thats recommended. If you scrimp on the install, you'll pay in no time at all in a destroyed engine.

Built it right, and it will be nice and reliable.....ish

Vortech comes complete setup. It depends how you drive and that will tell you what all you need to add apart from the kit. If you are heavy footed driver:

- Clutch
- Head bolts
- Oil cooler
- Gauges (to monitor all temps)
- and few small bits just to hold things right.

And once done with above you would want more power then ECU, head job ... etc etc ... or else just settle for the kit and enjoy it whenever required

Dont Toda install ITBs for their full build? so i dont believe your friend would be able to install the Vortech kit. I have only seen one person install ITB's on an FI s2000 (custom job).

Why doesnt your friend just get the parts from Toda and install them locally? If theres a good mechanic in Oman this would be a cheaper solution. Almost all toda parts are available seperatly.

i can fully build his engine, no need to throw money away.

you dont need to change anything in the car with the vortech kit.
IF staying on low boost

350whp is easy and very good for DD s2k, which you can get from a vortech kit with some small modds like exhaust ..etc
.
if he wants more power its not recommended to stay on stock internals.
