It seems like most on here are from KC or Topeka, but I haven't been here that long.
Good luck in Wichita. I was born and raised there and always went to McConnell AFB for the air shows. I'm so old that the Thunderbirds were flying the F4 phantom at that time.
If you like good Mexican food, check out el mexico cafe on south seneca. Hopefully it's still there. I was there about two years ago and it was still run by the same family.

Welcome! Yes, most of us are up in KC or in top city (Topeka), but we usually meet on weekends for cruises and there is the meet of the midwest end of this month at the Ozarks.

Grew up in Wichita, joined the navy a few years ago and stationed in SD now. Check out the bars in old town. Its been a couple years since i've been home so I dunno if the bars have changed. Also buy a dirtbike or quad. Lots of places to ride. Other than that buy lots of beer and drink til your not bored Wichita is really chill

I was born and raised in Wichita. I also attended many air shows at the base. My grandma still lives within a mile so we watch the B2 and LOTS of KC-135's take off and land from her driveway. My whole family still lives in that area so I'm there very often. I'll hit you up when I'm down there. Maybe we can take a cruise or something. I'll show you where the fast cars meet. ha

My grandparents live right there by base on the north end of Derby near base. I used to love watchin the B-1Bs until they got rid of em and brought a couple more wings of KC-135s in... I remember there being a wing of F-16s there when I was a kid too. I miss the fighters and bombers

^^^ Thats a badass job Dereklsept! I wanted to be a boom operator for a longtime
