WHILE most of you were tucking your kids in to bed tonight.the world inched ever closer toall out war.that crazy bastard in north korea succesfully tested their first nuclear bomb.more the reason why these countries that support terrorism should eliminated.that crazy f-----g bastard in north korea scares the living hell out of me.i hope and pray that world will stand and unite as one ,to put a end to this kind of behavior.sorry for harsh tone of this post.for most of us that are in our early 40s an older.you will under stand where im coming from.especially if your dad or mom served during the KOREAN WAR.also know as the FORGOTTEN WAR.

It makes me very uneasy to know that they have nukes, & that Iran either has them or is really close to having them. Sanctions don't work, so it appears the only alternative is to destroy the facility that is making the enriched stuff, and we won't get world support for that option. I don't know what the answer is, but we are sure walking a VERY thin line...

 

I am just simply asking...but doesn't the US have nukes as well...and probably more? Why doesn't anybody say anything to China...?

 

we have a ton of nukes. We just don't want to have to use them now seeing they're literally 350 times bigger than what we used on Japan in WWII. This is what my buddy who was in the military told me at least.

 

Angel....sure we have nukes, we just don't want anyone else, especially what we deem the nutcases, to get them. Then we have to worry about them being used on us again(think cold war). I don't think we should be the world police, and I also think, who are we to tell another country what they can & can't have. But, you also get really squirrely when the whacked out neighbor has the ability to annihilate an entire region and make it uninhabitible for 1000's of years with one bomb.

Toxis....the new nukes make the old ones look like they were using firecrakers(compared to a stick of dynamite).

it is all a matter of opinion...someone HAS to police the world, and until China decides enough is enough, the US will continue to do so.

China will be the next super power in 2010 - watch and see. As scary as it may seem, that is exactly where it is heading.

 

I think the main reason why nobody confronts China has nothing to do with the fact they hold the largest production of goods today. I think it relies heavily in the fact that they are simply too large to mess with and they have a very solid economy. Only God knows what they have in store for the world.

I am not sure I am following your comments about the Japanese cars being built here in the US and how they are supposedly better than the american brands...?

China gets most of their oil from Iran....Iran hates Israel...the US loves Israel...Israel has too many enemies in the Middle East...someone is going to hurt Israel (I really hope it is not Iran, at least not while I am still kicking)...Iran hurts Israel...the US intervienes and they hurt Iran...China says "ni ma hau sia sia" and they go after whomever hurt his prime supplier of oil.

China is its own biggest consumer...THAT is the difference on how they are so well economically and growing faster than ANY country in the world. Nukes...I bet you they have just as many as the US...and probably costed them 1/4 of what ours costed...
