I was there last year, but I am not going to get there this year. Just too much going on, and I don't have my car to take with me....so it just makes me pissy to see other S200s ripping through a course and I can't even go into my garage and look at mine right now.

Good luck Joe!!! Tear it up and show them who is boss!!!!

Oh, Marcus...even if you go by yourself....find out when A-Stock is running and go watch...its great entertainment. I did it last year and sat for about 2 hours watching...the majority of 42 cars in AS class last year were S2000s. Well worth the time.

Thanks , it is a tough class.

In the Class of AS, there are a number of drivers from the Kansas City Region. Link below shows the results. With 52 drivers in the class, I think that it had the second most drivers in one class at the Nationals.

Jim Eisinger and I were "Tire Warmers" for two very experienced S2000 drivers. Jim Co-drove with Andy Basham in Andy's 2005 S2000, and Andy came in 12th. Greg Obadia from the Washington DC Region drove my car and came in 25th.

Greg's last run on the West was 51.072......one of the fastest times of the day for S2000 drivers. If he would have had a better day driving on the East Course the day before, probalby his combined time would have put him in a trophy position.

Several of the SCCA sites now have the course map posted, so I thought I would post it here for everyone to see. Very interesting designs!! Also many have noted......the courses seemed to get faster after each heat!

Ok JulieU.....I will tell him. Mark will probably be at the next Crown event at the Woodlands on Oct 8th. Then the KC Region has one more event on Nov 5 at the Truman Sports Complex.
