i was thinking more of bars! i don't have my st00k with me... just trying to find some fun places to go. One of our friends told us to go to the plaza but I think thats more for the girls!

But also depends on your age group...Plaza I would say is for 25+ crowd...21-25 probably Westport...just be careful. If you are in the OL/OP area there are other spots that are worth checking out.

I'd go eat dinner on the plaza, then drive up a few blocks to westport. It's usually an older crowd till the summer time, if you don't mind a 35 min drive, drive over to Lawrence on I-70, younger crowd and cheaper to drink.

Watching this thread for idea's as I too am coming to KC on 'Race Weekend'.
My brother just moved there from Iowa. Moved to Overland Park.
If we get time sounds like Sadler's is on the list as well as Cabela's.
We ain't got nothing as American as that here in Los Angeles.
