Default Any experience with www.fnbodirect.com?

Looks like they have good rates. Any feedback guys? I have the 4.5% yield savings account with Citi. Looking for something better.

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the process of transferring $ from HSBC to FNBO.
The 6.00% rate is good thru 9/28/07.
Bankrate.com rated this bank 4/5 stars. Seems solid.

so it is only a short term rate. when it ends 9/28 what does it revert back to?

I think Countrywide is over 5% also .... I use ING and am thinking of moving it all to Countrywide....

Make sure it's an FDIC insured savings account and not a money market fund. Not that there is anything wrong with a MM account, just make sure it is what you expect it to be. MM accounts can lose money and the rate is not guaranteed.

They say that their rate before the promo was 5.25%. So don't think it will go below 5% unless the fed cuts rates in the next few months.

How's Countrywide doing after all that sub-prime mess? Haven't been following that...
