um, hold on to them until they decide to stay in china and take it in the a$$ from the chinese while bending over. i don't think they'll leave. it's too big a market to just walk away from, despite the problems with the government. they can always consult with the NSA on how to better secure their wares, and maybe at the same time force everyone to stop using IE.

Funny -- I just bought some, too.

was going to buy at $570 but my adviser said to wait.
Then he called me last week and recommended I get in now.

I decided against buying options and just got a few shares instead.

*shrug*

It's about doubled vs. the 52 wk low, not too far from the 52 wk. high, founders are preparing to unload significant positions, high PE, etc.

I'm a big Google fan, and have done well w/ them in the past, but it seems like more factors are against than for it. However, I haven't read any recent analyst reports, so I don't have any insight to '10 earnings growth projections.

I am investing primarily based on the assumption that cloud computing will increase their bottom line in the future. In addition, once the bugs are worked out, the Google Droid should be profitable.

True, but their lofty valuation already considers those things. They'll get hammered if they don't deliver on them!
