It is a shame that you have to worry about this kind of things. I'm 18 and I do live at home. I work during the week and make enough money to pay for my S (I'm trying to make $1,000 payments a month starting this month), insurance, gas, food, whatever. And every once in awhile I get hasseled for driving "daddy's" car to work or school when I don't drive the beater.

You should sell the car (if you can) and get something cheap on gas like a hybrid civic.
