PTR Good Buy or Not!
Okay, I bought shares of PTR, PetrolChina thinking they were well priced with potential for long-term high growth.
Berkshire Hathaway has PTR in their portfolio, they have somewhat of a monopoly in China, the economy is growing by leaps and bounds and will need the energy resources to propel that growth, and their slated to open in the HK market/exchange in October.
Because of this, I bought in at $155/share last month, now their trading at $135. Berkshire sold off some of it's shares but not much. Do you think their stock is a good buy or not?
How does the exchange rate affect the stock value and how will China's rate compare with the US in the short-term as well as the long-term?
