Figured out a solution. I'll just get a car cover. But is there a locking mechanism so that noone will take it?

depends on which part of the east side...

More towards Sunrise, and you're better...

More towards boulder station and well...

I live in the east side (Sunrise mountain) and I'd say no place is safe in Las Vegas! Heck somebody even stole the cover on my pickup in my own front yard at 2pm in the afternoon! Just have good insurance and take your chances with the rest of us, there is no safe place to leave your car in Vegas day or night.

I would be worry when you driving on East side more than where you park your car. Most people drive like idiot and they don't care about their cars. I end up bought a cheap car to drive around town. I'm scare to drive a nice car in Vegas this day.
I live near by boulder station. its really not that bad.(keep tell myself that) I think any where near E.Charleston is pretty bad.

My work zipcode is 89104. I believe that's near the boulder area.

i'd recommend seat locks! I had my seats stolen and I live on the west side in a good part of town..

I've invested in the Clifford 50.7x alarm system with proxy, so if they were to go after my seats, i'd go after them after I see it show up on my two-way.

That's still in a central area not really east. I live and work in that zipcode before years back. It still far away from the boulder area, but still consider a bad area. I had my car parked out there in the comercial center near that pool bar for like 2 years when I worked around there and I never had any problem. not sure if that make you feel better tho.
