Rai we have a friend that can get amsoil at a pretty good price. Contact Stan (istan) on here for more info

I personally put nothing but redline in my car (I get it from meyers) and it's great but it's not cheap

Since you are getting your car ready for the track here is what I run:
ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid, it's blue and it's great and can be purchased from a couple of the s2ki vendor (I got my last case which Me, Rudy, and Blaine split from Greg at GT Motoring)

I also use redline mt90 in the tranny (great when warmed up and on track, not so great for the first 5 mins on cold morning)

In the diff I'm running LE 607 which can be bought from a couple of the board vendors.

Since I'm lazy to change my own fluids I pay s2000nvegas to change them for me

AND

To the original poster, Amsoil is almost impossible to get over-the-counter. I remember a performance shop on the corner of Sahara & Maryland right next to Albertson's. If you're near that part of town you might wanna swing by. I know they had redline products but not sure about Amsoil.

Good Luck,
Hockey

Oh, I've been happy with Amsoil.

thanks karim,

so? is ok to change all my fluids before the track day, i have less than 2k miles.
im trying to keep my breakin oil in there as long as possible,(around 5-7K). is there such a thing as breakin in your tranny, or break, or anything other than your motor, (this sounds like a stupid question )

how important is it to change my other fluids for the track? remember im a newbie... im sure i wont be pushing my car the way you, and rudysan would.

dang, this S thing is getting more expensive by the minute... track days, fuel changes, front lip.. clear bra, HT, all this on top of monthlies and insurance...

i should have bought a GEO METRO... i'd prolly save at least 25grand...

Honestly since it is your first track day you'll probaby be fine not changing any of your fluids but I would at least change the brake fluid and possibly change ur oil (I changed my break in oil right around 3k on all 3 of my cars)

As time goes and you get faster and harder on the car better fluids is very cheap insurance.

Your car should be broken in by now. All my cars have seen track or autocross time with less than 1k on them

Also clear bra and front lip won't do anything for you on the track so I don't see any reason to drop money onto them. That's money better spent on seat time
oh... the clear bra, im putting because of my "almost" weekly drive to cali...
the front lip? that's another story. i just want it coz it looks good.. i wont be getting it anytime soon..

i was just merely stating the things im buying.. not necessarily means im buying it for track use..

i'll prolly be using all my stock fluids for this first track day im doing.. unless you would suggest something as necessary...

can i ride along with someone while they're tracking? i've never been to a track before.. im excited

i hope i wont wreck my car there...

I've got 10W30 Amsoil at home right now if you need it soon. Otherwise, let me know what you need and I'll get it ordered.

You have met me, I'm the black and white Panda Z.
