I'm thinking about brining out the S200CR for the challenge on Sunday. I've done a few track days with the Porsche Club at Spring Mountain, but this would be the first with SpeedVentures. Is anyone free to do the challenge? What time do you leave Vegas and how long does it take to get there? I appreciate the offer of assistance!

Sue

Yea, if you register for the event you can compete in the challenge. speedventures is way more layed back than PCA events. It is all self tech. The challenge is usually at the end of the event and is run as a dedicated time attack with the best of two hotlaps counting. Its way fun and there are like 25 s2ks already registered for sunday so it should be awesome... I am taking my buddies toyhauler and leaving friday night to do some surfing on sat, but last time i went to buttonwillow i left sat. night and stayed just south of the track at some hotel for 45 bucks.

In for sunday! I haven't been back to BW in over 2 years so it should be fun

I'm working sat at lvms so I'm leaving right after work on sat night. Probably staying at red roof in unless I can get the hook up on a hotel in Bakerfields.
