JP rules!

reason mitch did that, is hes seen my certified s2k repair and recovery vehicle.
And he knows i restore old VW's mainly busses. heres a few shots of mine. The two tone green one is one that i just finished putting back on the road, its still in progress. so is mine of course, but mine is more finished due to having its original coat of paint, from 51 years ago...

s2k chihuahua loves busses..

As always, these things are offroadin machines. took it up and climbed the black mountain, took a few pics of our awesome city.

see you all on saturday.

Nice. I never had a bus but I had a fling with a late 60s Bug that involved me turning it into a pretty psychotic Baja complete with a big-ass stinger Supertrapp on it that ended almost at roof height. I still have fond memories of leaking valve cover gaskets and batteries eating their way through the rear floorboards

I wouldn't figure those for good runners here in the heat, especially not the bus with the more fully enclosed engine bay.

Chicks it is dave, they love the thing. its crazy, every light i stop at, or at the store, girls walk by smiling... "love your vaaan"
i just smile.

They have no heat issues JP. they love the hot climate. they kick ass in the high desert. rommel loved them during the war. the only reliable vehicle. no overheating and losing coolant, and when its cold, no freezing up and cracking blocks. they are THE all around vehicle.
Ill have mine at cars and coffee saturday... as always.
see ya there. dave

I love the old VWs. My first car was a Squareback. What do you have in it? I've got a pretty sweet 2180 in my sandrail right now.
