Dmv help.........
Hey fellas, im a Socal member and have had some bs issues with my local dmv here in LA county. Basically my license is being suspended in a month
( August )Now i've aguried with your local dmv and they stated that inorder to obtain a Nevada license i need to pass your states dmv test and provide a physical addressto have the D.L. mailed to.
Im not using it for other mailing purpose, just to obtain the license. If anyone here can help me out with this id greatlly appreciate it. If need be i'd even pay you for the usage of your address. Once the license is mailed to your address i'll stop
all mailing from dmv and open a p.o. box from there on out. Please help me out guys, thanks.

So you want help circumventing your suspension?
What did you do to deserve getting suspended in the first place?

punched an infant that looked like hitler.
not sure if this wuld work, but...
have it mailed to a shipping business (like a UPS store) or any local business. ask the store manager that, once they get it, to forward that piece of mail to you...in the mean time, mail them an envelope and a check...
i am willing to bet a locally owned business wouldn't mind making $100 for mailing a letter, especially with the economy...

You know that when you suspension happens, they're just gonna report it and your NV license will be suspended/cancelled as well, right?
However just because you have a valid drivers license "from nevada" does not mean you can simply use that to drive around california. If your "PRIVILEGES" in california have been suspended!!! Which they will be if your license is suspended! Basically you cannot override the california suspension by obtaining any other license!! Suspended privileges is not affected by any license by any state. I know this from experience.
No matter what state you go to to get a license before your california license is suspended, you WILL NOT be able to drive in california! (and doing so will further your consequences)
If you wish to continue driving, then I advise you obtain a drivers license in another state by surrendering your valid california drivers license in the new state! Also you must MOVE to the new state or one of the other 49 states besides california.
The only advantage of getting a license in another state is so you can continue driving in OTHER states (not california in your case)!! reason is if you get pulled over in other states besides your home state, they will only check driving status of the state you are licensed, AND the state that you are in!!! (not states you may also have an expired/suspended/past license in)
hopefully that makes sense.... good luck!

Nope..... California cannot suspend a Nevada drivers license!!! It is out of their jurisdiction!
Also, "Your license may be canceled for an incorrect or fraudulent license application or it may be canceled if a check written to pay driver license fees is returned for insufficient funds." http://www.dmvnv.com/dlsuspension.htm
They ask about your driving record and they also check for points when you show up to the DMV to get your license. You can bet that a suspension coming down the pipe will be considered a fraudulent license application if nothing else. You might get away with it for a little while if you move quick, but they will catch up to you sooner or later. Your best bet is to either get an attorney and fight it or just suck it up and deal with not having a license for awhile.
Well thnx for the advice but my suspension is due to points.
within the past year i've occured 5 points so a mandatory suspension
is being served. Now im driving in other states and will need an out of state
DL not just here in CA. Im well aware of all issues but having a DL regarless
of state issued is my concern. Also its true, CA cannot effect the Nevada DL as long as you state that your a resident of that state issuing the DL. Now im simply saying that im here for work and thats that. When stopped in CA well
then im simply visiting.
" Enthralled" got the pm and will let you know asap, thnx.
