I know everyone has picked up GT-4. So we need to plan something soon. I know by this weekend I will have a good arsenal of cars. We could LAN hook at my house or maybe Mike's.

 

im down i got the game but my PS2 stoped working i have to get a new one this weekend .

 

I picked up the game Tuesday after work, got home, and my PS2 wouldn't read the disk. Same situation as Mike.

So, I went out that same night and bought a new one! You gotta do what you gotta do to play the game.

I'm still doing license tests. Haven't even done any races yet. I'm picky

 

I'm going the all silvers route. IA-15 is kicking my arse! It's one lap around the ring behind the pace car. The problem is I'm faster than the pace car and keep ramming right into him.

 

I've got all golds on the B Class. And I'm only about 3/4 through A Class with all golds. I'm slackin'. Man, having a profession is rather intrusive on PS2 time

 

i've got about 3 100ft cat5 cable for any GT4 network battles

 

Observations form last night...
1. Jimmys Amuse s2k needs one of Go Fast Lab's bumpsteer kits
2. Jimmys all motor 400+hp M3 needs areo it's useless at high speeds
3. Jimmys all motor 400+hp M3 has no traction in the lower gears rendering it useless in low speed corners
4. Jimmys all motor 400+hp M3 with nitrous got beat by Jimmy's STOCK 300 something hp M3 GTR (not the GTR racecar)
A. Both cars had good drivers.
a. Karim was driving the M3 GTR
b. Yuta was driving the high hp M3 with nitrous
B. Yuta just had a hell of a time keeping the car on track or straight for that matter.
C. What this shows is you can have all the hp in the world but it's useless if you can't put it to the ground.

Now for those of you looking to make some quick money here is a little advice provided to you from Karim...
Get Bronzes or better in B, A, and IA licenses. In the IB license get all silver. This will earn you an RX8 concept type II.
Take that RX8 and go into the Mazda hall and into the one make races and use the RX8 to win the RX8 cup.
This should net you the RX8 Le Mans car.
Take the Le Man cars out and go to the Japanese events and do the Japan GT Championchip.
The Le mans car is fast enough to win all the races. Enter the whole series. Each race you win will net you 15,000. There is 10 races so thats a possible 150,000. If you win the series you also get 100,000 in prize money. which leavesy ou with 250,000 and you win a new car which is the Motul JGTC 350. Between these 2 cars you can win a ton of races and a lot more money

I now have almost 400,000 and 20ish cars and I'm only 10% done for the game. Only bought 1 car and that was a used Yellow 01 S2000 I bought just for kicks
