Default H.O.A Problems

has anyone else had any problems with their HOA? mine has decalred a violation on my Invidia V1 exhaust system.. Thing that i find ironic is their is STI two condos down with a 3inch Straight pipe.. and they are mistaking my car for his ive lived here for 5 months and havent had 1 problem untill this SUBIE moved in..


BAD THING IS

ALL OF THE BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE HOA HERE LIVE IN THIS DEVELOPMENT..

Or replace your exhaust.

Or keep rpms and speeds down.

Just tell em you'll keep the rpms low when going in and out of the development, and make sure they know it's your car they're listening to when they hear the loud exhaust of the STi...hell if they knew the difference between the boxer exhaust note and the S2k, they'd know it was him and not you...but that's doubtful.

Step 1, go find your HOA packet and read up on the "noise violation" rules (assuming there are any)

Step 2, make sure you comply with said rule to the letter.

Step 3, tell the HOA to abide by the rule.

ha ha well the bad thing is this place has MASSIVE speed bumps.. which is why i idle take off idle take off.. my car scrapes on 4 out of 6 speed bumps. other wise i would do the car shut off method..
