Default Hit & Run

Last night I was hit by a SUV in a parking lot on harmon and maryland. I called the police and went to my car to get my registration and insurance. The driver got in the car as if he was getting his registration. When I got out of my car with the registration, they were turning the corner. I turned the corner, but they had already gotten onto maryland.
My passenger taillight is messed up as well as the bumper. Didnt get plates so i have to pay out of pocket.

Sorry to hear that, man. That's a frustrating situation. That person could very possibly burn in hell for what he did.

What did the Fuzz say when they arrived?

SUV's. Assholes should be required to have a CDL to drive them.

I am going to California this weekend to get a aftermarket bumper installed and painted in LA. I am stayin at my friends condo in San Diego. Buying bumper off of a guy on here and his uncle owns a bodyshop there where we can install it. How long does it take to take off the bumper? I want to take it off tomorrow so that it is not stuck in california!!! Is it hard? Anyone have directions? Thanks!

Ryan, I've never removed the rear bumper so I don't know how long it will take. I've got a manual around here somewhere so when I'm conscious tomorrow I'll try to post the relevant pages here.

If you're doing the swap at a bodyshop, I'm betting they'll be able to get the bumper off without any trouble. The only thing that concerns me about the whole thing is if something is damaged under there from your hit and run incident which might make it harder to get the thing off.

I should be around tomorrow if you want to with it but I don't know your schedule?

J.P.
