Default How to Fix a Fix-It Ticket?

I got a fix-it ticket as some of you know. So if I put the stock part back on, what do I do to show that I have corrected the ticket? Is there a place that you go to at the court house that checks out your car or what? Thanks for any advice!

what type of fix-it-ticket did you get?what do you need to fix?

change the plates and just take Jimmy's car in.

btw:I saw your thread in the socal section about Fullerton.Try Brea....it's the next city over and a nicer area with more places to chill.might cost a little more.

peace

I saw your post. Thanks bro. Got a BS "illegal exhaust" ticket. I am planning on putting on Karim's stock exhaust and taking it in if it isnt too much trouble. If it is, Ill just pay the ticket and be on my way. Does anyone know?

Usually you just need to get any officer to look at the fixed part and sign off on the ticket. Then you need to take the signed off ticket down to the courthouse and it's all done. Usually there's no fine.

Thanks. How do you get an officer to look at it?

Easiest way is to go down to your local sub-station.

+1. They usually have an officer there just hanging out who will check out the ticket, then sign off on it. then you bring the ticket to court and that's it.

Do I have to go to court on my court date or can I just go down there anytime?! Thanks!

Ro ja boy, cops hang out at nights at the 24 hour starbucks at trop and decatur, maybe you can ask one of them to sign it off. most of them are friendly.
