Default Insurance

I think it's about time that I change insurance companies. I've been with American Family Insurance since 16, but I feel they're raping me. I have no claims on my record, no tickets, nothing. However, for my beater car I have now I'm getting raped and they want to rape me even more if I add another car.

I have my home insurance through them too, so you'd think that they'd be taking care of me.

Who do you guys use? I need to call and get some quotes.

Thanks,

Ryan

Depends on the service you want but if you want cheap w/ "decent" claim service, just get a quote from Mercury Insurance especially w/ home owners discount. I have been w/ them for more than 15 years.

I don't know if anyone has progressive but they have the most nicest reps and very fast claim service.

state farm really impressed me they way they handled my claim. less than 24 hours from accident to car towed to body shop.

edit make that 6 hours.

If you are holding stocks in Ameriprise than you might have different opinion but if they gave you the lowest quote than I think it's o.k. It's still very big company, used to be american express financial, I think.

I told Allstate I was going to leave and they "reevaluated" me and saved me ~$40/mo. They won't want to lose your business, if they're worth a hill of beans.
