The pictures led to a car stop. The woman driving lent her car to a friend. Turns out the 'friend' used to date the same woman the victim is (was) seeing. A stop at his home found evidence to the crime... he's in custody. woohoo!

OH a rambling thread, i likes, hmm, i can contribute, some may not like my controversy, but hey its rambles.
uhm.. wheres ryan butler???
uhm.. whens the next group drive,
uhm.. whens the next tech day,,
uhm, when will the people in this forum actually further the growth of our community, by doing polls and seeing when actual s2k folk can have a meet? instead of just having a meet when 85% of the cars arent even s2k's??
uhm.. when will we have a for sale section, this is rediculous.
uhm..yeah, looks like as a team, we have a lot to work on. we are far from an attractive group of people. if you are proud of your car, then you take care of the community of people who also are proud of the car. this attracts many more owners, better meets, discounts at certain places for those members etc. at this point we really have nothing to offer, and the folks ive talked to who i invited, said no thanks to hanging out here, because of the attitudes.

this summer is gonna be off the hook, and i personally wanna see big vegas participation. drives to AZ, meets on weekends when all the gang can show, tech days, BBQ's people swapping parts and selling old stuff to less fortunate or new members who wanna mod also. track days etc. this wont happen with current participation. please, everyone please lets make this happen. late dave

It seems the S2k community is tappering off..people moving, selling the S, and so on...I'd like to go on a drive,tech day,BBQ...but I'd like atleast 12 members to show up not just 3 or 4..you know what I'm saying?

I do see a whole lot of S's when i go out..I'm in the midst of making those cards so we can pass out.

The reality is that if it wasn't for our cars we don't really have a lot of common interest. Example, some of us like to go clubbing, racing, drinking or just hanging at a bar, and tracking. Not a large enough group to do one thing. We are all over the board. That's cool because that mean we aren't hermits and have lives to live. Live well.

 

I got an idea let's just have one meeting a month since no one wants to attend.
