and why is that lucky? I am moving to Lafayette, Loussiana. its a small town compare to vegas..I guess I'll try something new =)

 

Cuz Vegas is a Medium town with nothing within 200 miles. At least in Lafayette you will have some other little swamp towns to go check out.

 

but we have that amazing stretch of road up mt charleston! i couldn't give that up!

 

One road.... You need to check out the midwest or any mountain state. Vegas roads suck and mt charleston is not that great a drive, IMO

we might not be talking about the same stretch of road...
i'm talking that extremely curvy climb up the mountain .. which eventually hits another road .. where if you go right you go back to the 95 .. but left up to the ski area... i went there with my friend a few months ago at night.. and there was no one there .. we could easily use both lanes and take really fast lines... hit 100 a few times ... braking hard for the next curvy section... ah... ok.. i wanna go now...

and then the second fun part is the final climb to the ski area... up to the very top... a couple of very very tight uphill (and then downhill :-D ) hairpin corners... park there.. and take in the view...

aaah.. that was a good night

it's a blast on the way down too... maybe you went during the day when there were cars?
