Default JDMs and Metro

Do the cops out here give you shit for driving a RHD car? I ask because I am considering something like a JDM RX-7 for a daily driver, something still fun , but something id be more comfortable abusing than my precious S. It might not be an RX7, but just any JDM car if the opportunity comes my way.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks

I don't believe so. A buddy of mine in the Airforce had a RHD Integra Typer R and He had been pulled over a couple times. I think it just confused the crap out of the Cop. Silly Fuzz......

so they don't really care so long as the car is registered within the state?

Exactly. I'm sure with the huge transient population coupled with the many conventions to include SEMA , Metro has pretty much seen anything. Good luck with the JDM hunt.

That sounds awesome! Changes my outlook for a possible JDM daily driver... But has anyone else had any first or second hand experience? Not that the previous comments were any bad or anything. Its just that on the off chance that there WERE complications , the car i spend lots of money on could be crushed

There's a RHD WRX around town and also a few different RHD 240s. As long as it's legitimately registered, you'll be fine.

There's no crime in RHD as long as the rest of the car meets DMV inspection requirements. I've never heard of anyone being cited for that before.
