I can't believe you guys drag race....

I went to a midnight mayhem to watch one night. It was ok, but too many people were doing stupid things like lining up to the tree as Karim mentioned. I still don't feel like running either of my cars. LVMS doesn't care anyways when it's packed like that they make $$$ How many runs did you guys get?

We ran three times. And made fun of people the rest of the time in the stands. We could have gone more, but we took breaks and sat in the stands.

I talked to a couple of racers out there who drag race on a normal basis and they were consistently a second or so off their best times.
Not to mention there were a million people there and most of them had no idea what they were doing. There were people pulling all the way up to the tree itself.
If I go back it won't be for midnight mayhem, it'll be f or test n tune or wed night street wars where it's more expensive but they let less cars in and they prep the track.
When did you buy an 06 Karim? Did you trade in your old one? Was it a lease or something?

haha i dont know. i think its just the drivers i go there all the time and run great. plus you only heat up drag radials not street tires. also kevin lvms isnt responsible for the way your car runs. its either you or how that car is setup. but lvms didnt tune or drive your car. but come on man its a straight line just hit the gas and shift and stop making excuses

1. Yes, LVMS is responsible for the way cars run. When they don't prep the track correctly, no car will run what it should.

2. If you go there all the time and run great, please tell me what you run. Because I know you are not as fast as me. You know this too.

3. I'm pretty sure I have one of the fastest recorded stock times in an S2000, so it's not me once again.
