You guys are WAYYYY too touchy. I bust on one of your REGIONAL members, 2broke2drive, (meaning a local guy that you all probably hang out with) and nobody backs him up? All i get is my post deleted and the topic closed to me? Sens-it-tive.

While i myself don't own an S2000, it was Jesse that talked me into my current car. I'll spare you the details of what car i have since i don't have my flame suit on and you guys would all probably concentrate on that anyways. Everytime i drive my car, i have him to thank for it. So Jesse, when you read this, Thank-You. I wasn't trying to make Jesse or Christen or even Sadie look bad, it's just they're the only ones i know that i can joke with. (Sidenote: Hey Wink, i'm drinking a Coke as i'm typing this...lol)


The main reason i came on this site is to gauge interest on a shared Dyno-Day. I know you guys meet up just about every week or so, so i was hoping a Saturday wouldn't be too bad. None of the details have been worked out as of yet, as we're still in a "gauging interest" stage. I've posted a similar thread in my forums as well and there's quite a few people wanting to go. So, what do you guys think? Or should i have posted this in a different section?????

 

To back you up on this thread...I dont understand why your post was deleted either. I also dont understand why you were told by Karim "Please keep this crap out of the regional forum. OK? Thanks!" He never said lets go out and illegally race. What if he means the drag strip? People can say "Lets go race and see whos lap times are better at autocross or at Fast Lap", but they cant drag race? Uhhh...ok?!

I'm Nate. I went with a few of you to the Magic Mountain Run over the summer. I've met the dude in the white one (Jimmy i think?) as well as Dustin (black one). If you remember me, please don't post what car i have cause i don't want everyone focusing on that....thanks.

 

Nate, my bad I didn't know you and Jesse were cool. I came home got on and saw your calling out post and then your other post and Jesse's reply back to it. I went and looked back at the other few posts you've made and they all seemed to be anti Jesse With the huge amount of trolls we've had on the board lately I went ahead and killed the post and PMed Jesse asking him if he knew you or you were just some random troll. Jesse got back to me today that you guys were cool. Welcome to the site You should come out to one of the weekly meets and hang out one night.

Ryan usually when people say "Bring your pinkslip" or something along those lines it usually implies some sort of street race and we'd just perfer to keep all street racing talk in the street encounters forum. We don't want the regional forum to become a place where illegal races are setup. People more than welcome to discuss legal drag racing and such

Yah i guess its cool...i just wanted to avoid the S2000 vs. Srt-4 comments. I've always thought it was an apples to oranges discussion anyways...BTW, did anyone see my wife try to make that right hand turn to the hotel on the Magic Mountain Run? She said it was no big deal but it was big enough to wake me up in the back seat...anyone eyewitness? Meh.

So back to the main reason....how does a co-dyno-day sound? From talking with Jesse, it's been our opinion that the SRT-4 guys around town have been somewhat snobbish. Kinda like "Our ish don't stink" (Wait can we swear on here?) So with including you guys into the dyno day, i was hoping to change that. We really are or can be a good group of car enthusiaists. Plus, you guys are way more organized than us and maybe we can pick up on some of your good habits.....Nate

 

My boy Will has an SRT-4. Well, it only runs sometimes, but he has one. He has already broke the tranny (i think) and for some reason that I never got answered, he was only running 3 pounds of boost. Another friend of mine, Ryan, has a red one. They are nice cars!

Yah, Will have a silver? Works for west coast motorsports? If so, i know that dude. Good guy. He broke the shifter fork i believe. Too much not pushing the clutch all the way in. That's why i sit right up on the steering wheel. Plus, i'm not the tallest guy either...lol

As for your cars, ask Jesse. I was going to buy his. One of the 8 millionth times he was going to sell it...ha ha.

 

Yeh...I think you're right about the shifter fork. He does work for West Coast Motorsports (I dont know if Will actually works there), which is owned by another kid I know who is a former S2000 owner (now has an 04 Cobra).
