BTW Kevin (Name? LSHATCH?)....did you buy the motor already built and are dropping a new motor in it or are you putting all the parts of the stroker kit into your current motor?

The motor was preassembled and ready to drop in. Just have to put one of my heads on the short block and bolt on all the other random things.
It's actually with Dave right now, beginning the project.
Nice. Good luck finishing it.
Thanks Joel. I need to part out the car before I make a final decision. If anybody is interested in any of my parts, PM me before they start being shipped to SoCal.

if you want to kick your modding habit, the easiest way is to buy a car with no aftermarket support. that way, it would be way too expensive and troublesome to get anything for it. the m3 has tons of support from the am, so you know eventually you will get sucked in... just a thought.
ok, let's face facts here. you're always going to mod whatever you get. it's just in your blood. i remember so many times you saying "oh, that's it, i'm done!" hahah, and then the next time i'd see you, there'd be a new part on the car.
so i don't buy the whole "all i'll do it get rims and drop it!"
but i am sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with the car, nothing sucks worse than a spun bearing. and now you're faced with some dilemmas. if you try to sell the car with a spun bearing you won't get crap. (trade-in or private sale)
so worse case scenario, you're looking at getting it fixed. and once you do you'll need to decide to keep it and deal with the troubles of daily driving a high horsepower car, or trade it for something new.
if i were you, i'd go for an Infiniti G35 coupe. from what you described that you wanted, it would fit you perfectly. an M3 is going to suck your wallet dry.
OR, if you really wanted something different, you could get a new mustang GT
good luck in whatever you decide man

I think the M3 will eventually turn into a project, but its one that I would be willing to do I suppose. I wouldnt get into FI and because the parts are so expensive, I wont be done for 10 years.
