Default My Track Car Build Thread

Hey guys, im sure most of you have heard me talk about this project or seen some pics here and there. I will start it off with a history and a quick run-up to where it is today. Any input is cool. Good, bad or indifferent...

So a prologue... I have been wanting to build a track car for a long time now and have had numerous tuned street cars from VW to Honda to Nissan, and of em all I liked the S for a track platform.

Here goes

Day 1 after two months of searching I find an S that is priced right and is completely straight, no history of anything.

Car went straight onto jackstands and and the teardown began.

Interior is Completely stripped and hardtop is on (cuz I have no where else to keep it)

Brakes have gotten ebc pads and SS lines

Under the Hood. Samco Hoses, comptec intake, buddyclub thermostat and rad. cap, "ARC" cooling panel, test pipe and single exhaust.

Suspension/footwork: comptec x-brace, T1R bumpsteer kit, enkei NT01's 17x9.5, Advan 032R. Rolled fenders (im an amature)

Misc Prep: Batt. Relocated to trunk w/isolater post, In cockpit kill (one to be added in rear)

In the works, full cage, coils (hopefully some HKS pieces), recaro seats, 4.77's etc... I will update with new progress and mods...

Thanks Ian. I have seen some other fenders that look like a dinosaur chewed on it, so i am not too down on how mine turned out...
