Default New Plates?

Has anyone seen those new NV plates? What's the story behind it? Back then we were a peice of metal with felt lettering, now it's more like a piece of plastic with the lettering stamped on top of it.

I think they are pretty weak. Whats the matter.......prison workers striking at the license plate stamping wing?

They expect me to pay EXTRA for a personalized plate? At least make it look like it is worth more than $2.95

If you look closely at the first picture, the letters pop-up and you can "feel" them. If you study the second picture, they look like a piece of plastic with the letters taped on.

I actually prefer the new non-stamped flat ones. It's easier to clean off track grime, and my mom gets even more time to get buff and work toward her degree in prison
