Default Question for the Las Vegas owners

My wife has to take several people out to eat in Vegas next week for several meals. She wants to hit at least a couple of the best buffet's. When I quit working in Vegas in 97 the RIO was the insiders choice. Has that changed? Suggestions?

Thanks

The Rio still has a great buffet. But I think the best buffets are the locals casino. (i.e. Station Casinos, Fiesta, etc.) I also love the Main Street Casino Buffet. On Fridays they have All-you-can eat Crab legs for pretty cheap.

My fathers company is a seafood supplier so I've had the chance to check out quite a few buffets.

If you want something different and good check out the Alladin and the Palms. Both are very good but you'll spend a little.

Excalibur is one of my favorites. Great buffet and it's a classic not to mention well priced.

Rio is still good but I'd say over the last few yrs the quality has went down.

My favorite is at Paris. It's pricey but the quality is very good.

the Rio is horrible now in my opinion.

i hate going to buffets, but if i had to choose, i'd go to the Palms or to the Las Vegas Hilton.

ps. the Hilton's Seafood buffet is AMAZING. it's one of the few pleasures i miss now that i'm vegetarian

Thanks for moving this. I looked for a Vegas forum and missed it, I must be more than half blind.

Thanks for the info guys. I enjoyed the years I worked out there and really miss not being able to visit the area.

If you're into desserts, Paris and Rio have very good variety for desserts.

Green Valley Station has an awesome buffet! oooo, warm and cold crap legs.. the food selection is also good. If you like upscale, bellagio is nice. Fresh meats and seafood, also a sushi section too! If you are mainly into shellfish, rio has a good seafood buffet.
