Radiator Swap Complete
Well,
I finally got the part from Findlay Honda on thursday nite (BIG thanks to Dave - S2oooNvegas) and slapped the new radiator in on friday nite. As expected, the biggest pain was draining and dealing with the coolant. The radiator swap labor itself is a piece of cake. While I was in there, I detailed the engine and treated the hoses.......looks brand new again
.
Flushed / refilled the radiator and added some Redline Water Wetter just for kicks now that it is getting hot here. No runs, no drips, no errors so far and I seem to have gotten the air pockets outta the system.
Had to give the car a good wash after all that. So I'm feeling pretty good right about now
. Had to carpool for a week while that part was being ordered, so I had to go a whole week without driving the S
. Now its "go time"
Thanks again to Dave, JP, Karim and Ryan for your help.
