The MGM is preparing an offer letter. It looks like it is time to pull the trigger on this one.
Seems I'll be applying for one of the Vegas badges soon!!!
They are putting me up for a month on their dime so I can find a place to live. I'd really appreciate suggestions on areas to live that are safe. I want to be as close to the strip as possible for a short commute, but also need to feel safe with my car. I'll be sure to get a garage too. I'll be renting for the immediate future, clearing some debts and then buying. So just a rental for now.

I have a house for rent in Nevada Trails, which is in South West Las Vegas. The house is painted with really nice earth tone colors and all appliances are included. I personally live in the area and can safely say it's pretty nice... 2 min. from 215 beltway and takes me about 15-20min. to get to Wynn hotel everyday for work. I am giving ONE month FREE rent for November and rent is 1200/month with minimum 1yr. lease.
Basics...
1400+ sq. ft.
3 bedroms, 2 full baths
2 car garage.
1200 deposit at move in.

I see that you're now looking for softball instead of looking for new S2K maintenance clients on your spare time. Good for you. Hopefully the MGM is making up that money for you.
Anyway, I'm going to be in Vegas over the Thanksgiving holiday visiting my in-laws, i'll try to PM you before I come out. If you're in town, I'll try to hook up.

Good to hear from you. Yes the MGM is treating me well, but due to some requests I WILL be resuming Hockey Auto (as soon as I move all my stuff up here from SD - including my tools). I have been approached by a couple people, so I will gladly oblige.
Definitely hit me up when you get in town. There is a chance I will be going back home to SD that weekend, but if I'm here in Vegas it would be great to get together.
