So gay! I'm not TOO far from you either. Although, if insurance or the shop you use is cool, you can take the $12k or whatever crazy amount they pay for that and get some $1500 aftermarket seats and a $3000 hardtop and pocket the rest.

Dude, that sucks.

Everyone should get the seat locks that Kodokan4 sells. I had them in my S. Beats driving around on milk crates.

Sure, but while you're waiting for the insurance to settle your seat claim, you can still drive the car with slashed seats

Gated community, that's a good one. I hope you've overcome that false sense of security you were sold.

Man!!! I feel your pain! My S was vandalized here in Vegas as well. It was parked in my friends driveway around 215 and Jones. It actually just happened about two months ago. I went ahead and bought a hardtop. I reccomend you do the same. There are a lot of good deals out there if you look around. Right now I would get some strong thread and a needle and sew the top back together, you can then seal it with some black silicone from home depot. This will keep the rain out and reduce the annoying wind flap and noise. (This is what I did.) It actually works quite well if you sew it right. I would also go straight to the police station and make a report, your insurance company will probably ask for this. Make sure you write down everything!!!!! that is wrong with your car in the report. Believe it or not this may actually give you an opportunity to upgrade your car. Just spend your insurance money wisely and your S could be even more satisfying to drive. I went for KW V3 and a CF Hardtop. You should get some serious cash for those seats!!! Hope this helps!

Sebring, the same thing happen to me on the 23rd of this month but they were'nt able to jack anything from me. It was 2:40am in the morning and my car alarm went off waking me up right away. I turned my lights on and I hear a car with a loud exhaust driving off. I quickly grabed my keys and heat ran outside and the first thing I noticed was my convert top was slashed open about 1 foot in length on the drivers side above the latch. F**KING PUNKS!! I live in the same area as you, I'm about a mile or two west from your location. All you S2000 owners in Las Vegas keep an eye out on your S2k. I'm sorry to hear that they took your seats, hopefully your insurance will fix you up. I called Honda west this morning so I could get some info for my insurance adjuster and the person I spoke to in service told me a day or so ago another s2k owner got his seats jacked and his convert top slashed. come to think about it, was that you? Anyways I know what your going through and I hope things turn out good in the end for you.
