Staying at the Venetian for a Microsoft conference from Sunday to Friday. Any suggestions for places to go (clubs, bars, etc...) and eat?

 

for clubs try Pure inside the Ceasers or Rain inside the palms. bars...hum...don't know any, but I liked TAO, it's more like an ultra lounge type place and it's also inside the Venetian.

hum...not sure what type of foods you like, but I like steaks and they have a VERY good steakhouse inside the Venetion, it's called Delmonico's and it's rated as one of the best steakhouses in the USA. was a bit pricey though..last time me and two other friends where there, we dropped a grand.

jtpassat, If you like BBQ ribs without the price tag go to Ellis Island (it's on Koval lane) You can get a full rack with sides for $12.95, a half rack + sides for $7.00, wait is long but sooo worth it.

Dos Caminos is a good eatery inside the Palazzo which is right next door of the Venetian. Great customer service and great food. But you got to pay the $$$! There is a lot of things to do but are you looking toward nightlife/bars? Or during the day outings?

I would suggest going to Town Square on the Las Vegas Blvd. Taxi ride is not too far, and it has a couple of bars and shopping.

 

or come join some of the vegas crew for "church" service.

 

church is 24/7.... And a lot to choose from =)

 

does "church" still take dollar bills or are minimum donations gone up??

 

minimum to seat in the front pew is still a dollar.
