I heard that the Honda S2000 will be discountiued and will only be sold as an Acura S2K BUT only in Japan
the car will feature full carbon fiber pannels, rear speakers will become standard, a exterior temp gauge will be added, Spa yellow will return, and they will bring back the 9k rpm
can't wait to buy my next one

btw...I hear that they might add roof rails for MY06 S2000...be good for folks who want to go to Home Depot and such

I've read a lot of postings about 2006 and/or what people would like to see changed on the S2000, and one change that I thought last night would be really cool, no one ever mentions...
What about getting the engine to redline over 10k or 11k. So many owners love how the engine rev's out, why not try to increase this even more? Cosworth can run their V8's at 22k all day long, and I bet Honda will set some rev records when the V8 format in F1 implemented.

The dealer told me that there will be a optional "S meet" package. Comes with a cooler and Gas grill in the trunk perfect when for those times when you are meeting a few S owners for a lunch and drive
Honda will make these Meet-packs available as an accessory as well for those who didnt order their S with it or for those of us who want the 06 upgrade. George, you may want to opt for that!

I heard the 2006 has an F1 engine option and a towing package coming out for the first time. Oh boy, now I can tow my boat at 180mph!
