Default Adjusting the Parking/E-Brake?

Did a search unsuccessfully. Had a little incident today at work...car rolled out of my parking spot...luckily it just scraped the underneath of the front a little and the fact that my spot ISN"T in front of an open aisle but an island was a definite plus. Really sux because I set the parking brake but didn't leave it in gear....
which I will make a point to do from now on as an extra precaution.

So....your help with instructions is appreciated so I can sweet talk Ron into crawling under the neath to adjust it.

you don't have to crawl under the car to adjust the e-brake

just remove the shift knob, pull the radio door off , pop up the center console and tighen the cable using a #10 wrench

I posted the pages from the shop service manual detailing this procedure.

Wendy if Ron gives you any grief, this is 100% a warranty issue on a 2007 (I'm assuming you have less than 36,000 miles).

I would be at the dealership immediately saying they owed me a paint job because the ebrake did not work like it was supposed to.

arn't brakes a "wear" item - plus the s2k has been known to roll back even with the brake on - something about the rotors cooling off. hence the reason the car should always be left in gear when parking
