Default Alignment shop?

I have been to several shops, town fair tire, firestone, some small shops. I live in bridgeport but have gone to other towns near by. My car is lowered on Tein Stechs and koni yellow shocks. i dont think it's that low but unfurtunately it wont clear some of these alignment racks, and also some wont touch it because its not factory height... Anyome know of a shop that has newer aligment racks or tha will take my S in atleast?

Also ive read the best alignent seems to be the UK specs but with rear OEM toe... is this right?

Thanks in advance,
Fernando

I think he was implying that any shop should be able to make the suspension adjustments for you. But they can't do diddly if they can't get it on the alignment rack. Bring some boards or find a shop that can get the car onto the rack to do the alignment.

The alignment rack at the shop where I work is recessed into the floor. No ramp to drive up. We could do it no problem, and so could Groves place. But we're no help since were so far away.

The other two options you have are to bring it to a race shop. I bet there is one not too far from you. Or just do the alignment yourself. Not many crazy tools needed. Just an extra set of hands and a level floor.

I'd try http://www.kaizentuning.com/ in Acton, MA. Looks like they have the expertise you are looking for. I plan to align my car this spring. Make sure whomever aligns the car lets you sit in or "sand bag's" it to your weight.

I had the UK alignment spec on a stock car for a 1.5 year or so. Boy does that car lock into a corner, but is very twitchy on the highway about 80 mph. In the end, I did not like how nervous is felt at high speeds to make the increase corning worth it. If you could meet somewhere between the two would be awesome!
