Just sharing the story, I think its amazing the quality of life this woman has gotten from modern medicine.

If you think that is cool, just think what we could have done if the previous admin freed up stem cell research or if the SSC project was completed (congress defeated 1993).

One of the single greatest aspects of this nation is it's science and technical prowess....manufacturing is gone, there aren't too many advantages left.... we need to hold onto them.

 

Jeff, if you think it goes in the lounge NBD to me, just sharing something I found to be heart lifting for this woman.

 

....I think it is great for this lady, however...this operation was done in europe several years ago......my point was that in nearly every scientific arena, the US is losing its edge.
