Default Anniversary get away...

Heading to North Conway for a weekend get away this week with the misses. Anything in particular we should try and see/do while out in that area? Not sure if we will be taking the S or her IS250 yet...

the saco is great. i forget where abouts, but a few years back I went swimming there and it was amazing. right off the main road, right near a shell station i think, theres a smal bridge over the saco that we had jumped off of, the waters deep and crystal clear, you could see trout swimming everywhere, it was really a blast, anybody else know this spot? cant remember many details it was a few years ago...

I grew up next to the Saco River. Can't say I would swim in it, not where I lived. Before you swim, check out the Legend: http://www.theheartofnewengland.com/...aco-river.html

I did, however, skate on it in the winter. My parents would take us kids out on the river, build a bonfire, toast marshmallows and of course, do some skating. Those were good times

"The curse was said to go like this: "Three or more white man shall die in this river every year."

I'm not white. This doesn't affect me

However there is a legend called the "Asian Curse of the Saco", however rumor has it the water was just cold that day.

Don't feel bad, Kenta. I don't think this curse is restricted to just Asian males.

North Conwsy- hit up Flatbreads for lunch or dinner. Mr Washington is right there along with a number of other great hiking spots.
