Default Auto Show In Motion

There have been ads in the Globe this week communicating a free test drive oriented event in Weymouth.

Has anyone tried this out?

Looks like a perfect opportunity to abuse some GM (and other) product.

I know someone who signed up for it. I am told they are well attended and there are long lines for the good stuff like Vettes and BMWs. It may rain on Saturday, so who knows how many will show up?

This event was a blast.

I got there early and drove most of the luxury cars. 525i, e320, 9-3, a6 4.2, ls430, cts, seville, deville, bonneville

The vette ride was two laps with a pro driver.
Your choice of std.(but I had to stay in 2nd the whole time) or auto.

The H2 ride included a roller coaster like hill climb and a banked terrain element. Folks loved this thing.

The event was well organized, well staffed, had plenty of free food and drink.

They had a few show cars like a supercharged vette, lots of satellite radio stuff, gm master card and other finance stuff.

The only real lines I saw were for the euro cars and for the hummer.

At the end, filling out a page of questions got you a goody bag too.

jt, did you get there?

I wish I did but didn't get to finish putting in my vinyl siding on Sat. so I had to finish it today. This home owner thing gets in the way sometimes.

Now I'm really bummed that I didn't go!
