Default Autocross

I want to get involved in autocross, but I am a complete noobee to it
Could I come along with someone to the next autocross meet in the NE area to watch, and to put down a few runs myself?
My boss showed interest in tagging along as well (she has a silver R32)
Please make suggestions

I also want to try autocross. I think Glenn has all the stuff needed for our own event, it is just a matter of finding a parking lot and getting permission to use it for an event.

HELP!!!!

Needed:

Location to have a Driver's Education Class.

Area must be free of Telephone and Light Poles. Area also must be free of Parking Berms or obstructions. Large paved area wanted.

NES2KO has insurance and all "Driver's Education" materials needed. This includes Instructors, Timing Lights, Cones and all misc. items.

Thanks you,

NES2KO

If someone wants to give me a contact name and number of a location, please feel free to share. I can take care all of the legal issues, questions and misc. logistics.

how about the brockton fair grounds?

i've seen everything from 18 wheelers, to ambulances, to motorcycle cops, to father and son on pocket bikes learning over there.

The Silver City Galleria mall in taunton also has a extra parking lot where they usually host the carnival, and also police driving motorcycles, etc.
There is also where they have their R/C car race track as well

any ideas? season's almost over, and I haven't autocrossed my S yet (i've had it for 1 year)

BTW, does anyone know what is going on with the Dog Racing Track parking lot next to the Wonderland T station? I see cones and some automotive themed trailers there on my way to work... Ben, any ideas?

i talked to these people
http://www.wonderlandgreyhound.com/index.html

they are almost unaware of what Driving Dynamics does in their big-ass parking lot
I am unsure of how to approach them about our idea; Glenn?

Dima,

There's autox and track time at Fall Colors at end-Oct... Just thought I'd throw in a pitch there. (only a couple of us NEers are going)
