Default Bad Day

Ohh another overcast day. One of my girlfriends friends comes over and they want to take a drive in my S. After some reluctance I say ok and hand over my keys (we're getting married in July, so no biggie I figure). Well they leave with the top down and come back with the top up cause it is pouring like crazy.
They come back and I realize they left my S out of the garage. So I do what I figure I should go downstairs in the pouring rain and begin my usual backing the car into the garage, in a damp car. The car is left in a wierd way and another car is parked in front of my garage, forcing me to back in at an odd angle. YIKES, I nick my garage side... a scratch on my rear drivers side quarter panel. NOOOO. I used some scratch out and cleaner wax and it does look better, but still clearly visible. When I have the time I will do it properly I guess. i.e. wash car, clay it, cleaner wax, wax. My garage is way tight. When backing in I have about 3-5 inches on either side before I my mirrors would touch.
Sorry all I just needed to vent a little. Cause she thinks I'm too into my car.

Ouch man! That sucks...hope it isnt damaged too too badly. The S's are weird to back in when you have the top up. My garage at my aparment is big, but if it was tight like yours i would probrably pull the top down everytime just to see where i was backing into...lol...hope all goes well and you can sleep. I know if my S got scrached i would be tossin and turnin...good luck!

As I started reading it I figured it was your girlfriend who did the damage... Backing up with the top up can be a challenge. Hope it all buffs out ok.
