Update.....I bring the car in for the third time to get the last two rims replaced. They have my car all day and then I find a message on my machine around 3:00. "Sir, can you give us a call, please." Not sounding good. I call. Supposedly......the new rims arrived damaged from the factory and they have to order another set. Now...did they arrive damaged or did they damage them again tring to put them on? So...I'm keeping the loaner and leaving my car there until they can get it right. Unbelievable. I'm going on one month to get my snows put on. By the time they get this right...it will be spring.

Too bad you didn't just pick up some cheap AP1 rims and have the snows mounted on them. You'll have to go thru this same B.S. next spring won't you?

As far as equiptment, they told me that they had a brand new machine and that it was the latest state of the art equiptment. You would think that the dealership would have the newest stuff. I made sure I asked them before I brought it in. I even asked them if they had someone they could trust to do the job that wouldn't scratch the rims. They assured me that they did. As far as picking up another set of rims.....I had thought about it, and have done that in the past with other cars, but I have also had snows changed on and off many times on other cars without a hitch. Who could have imagined this nightmare experience?

An experience like this would be 5 times as much motivation as I would need to never return to such a shop.
