So, Bruce has been craving carrot cake. Thanks for nothing, Buddy. Once you put that idea in my head, it wouldn't go away.

So I stopped at the store today and picked up a personal "snack size" carrot cake. I figure I could make this thing last like three days. Things did not go as planned.

Turns out Bass' buddy George is in a bit of trouble with the law and unavailable to help Bass with some siding,(translation- he's a guest of a county somewhere) and Bass and Erick carried through on a threat posted the other day and showed up to drink Rick's beer. I came out of a trip to the ladies room to find Bass and Rick had set me up. He was eating my ##$$ carrot cake, but I think the flipping off is meant for Bruce?



Oh, please pay no attention to the growing in the background.

And here I was feeling sorry for Bass and Erick as they kept burning their arms stoking their wood stove, so I bought them each some nice welding gloves from my place of employment....I'm done with both of them, and Rick is sleeping on the couch until I get the carrot cake replaced.

 

 

Thanks for nothing. Hey Bruce, those little carrot cakes are at Shaw's, $1.99. A great way to satisfy a craving.

How did you make out today? Any time in the S?

We had an odd day, rain, thunder, hail, sun, clouds, warm temps.

I did manage a trip to the zoo with the grandkids in between all of the above.

Since this is my thread, I can post grandkid pics. The zoo has a little train, first ride of the season for the kids. The little guy loved it.

I am going to visit my mom today, another road trip. Think I am going to take the Civic today to keep the S off that horrible dirt road

I actually might All my geek gear is in the S now (Radar, GPS, iPod, cords).

It's filthy from the rain and highway driving yesterday. And I can wash it on Monday when landlady goes to work and moves her car!
