they are pretty cool in that they eat like a billion insects a night, which in my neck of the woods is always a good thing.
I just don't like the little bastards in my attic.
I have a slotted box vents in my gables.
The last time I painted I had to take them apart to clean all of the damn bat guano out.
SO when I put them together I fronted them with screening so they couldn't get back in.
WRONG!!! somehow the little buggers managed to push the screening out of the way.
I should have used damn metal lath. :banghead
see the vent at the very peak of the roof over the library?
The one you can't get to with ladder?
Ok so technically they are not in the attic but between the screens in the louvers of the vent but they still pile up guano there.
I am so tired of dealing with homeowner type sh1t.
I am going to build a few of those bat houses out of wood with a certain sized hole in it.
Supposedly if you build the house to specs, you WILL have a bat living in it within 2-3 years. I could use a few bats flying around at night to keep the skeeters away.
