I had me a fine Caffeine Free Diet Coke last night...vintage 2008!

What a bouquet and finish!

Octoberfest is becoming harder to find.

Glass is heavy and wasteful. I think you should install a plastic liner in the bed and fill it up. If you're feeling ambitious, I'd say install a tap handle on the tailgate for easy access.

That reminds me, the bar I was at on Friday had an Sam Octoberfest special - $4 for 20oz in a glass Octoberfest mug - you keep the mug. I now have 4 Sam Octoberfest mugs, which I forgot to take out of the S2k trunk.

I like keepin' heavy glass mugs in the freezer for beer.

Nothin like a cold brew in a frosty mug, mmmmm.

I just polished off a 12er of Sam Ocktoberfest over the weekend, and I'm gonna pick up some Shipyard Pumpkin ale on my way home tonite to replace it.

Frosted mugs promote nucleation of the carbonation. This creates a much larger than desired head on the beer. Thus releasing the aroma pre-maturely taking away from the enjoyment of the beverage. This makes the beer taste much flatter than it is/should be.

Not to mention they make the beer too cold which causes them to hide much of the flavor that the brew masters work hard to put in the beer.
