Default best tires

what's your fav tire, considering summer season only, has to be "ok" in wet condition.
I looked into to falken azenis r 6....something like that, but they don't offer the size I want.

I'd go with either the Bridgestone re01r or the Falken RT-615. Even though you can get neither of them in a 245/45/16 rear size, they'll stick better than the wider s02's. If you are set on going with larger rear tires, I'd just get s02's.

Jim at the tire rack sold me on the General Exclaim UHP tires. They rank 100% in their class. And they are chap as sin too. I guess General is trying to make a run in the performance category. For sh1ts, go check the ratings on them at the tirerack.com I got mine in 245/40zr17 and 215/45zr17 One of them arrived today and it looks great. I will have a review on them after the dragon for sure.

I am with you on this. I bought the car with fairly bald rears and good fronts. The rears were only scary if you pushed them or if it was wet out. They were actually still fairly controllable at 8/10 but I wouldn't go all out. I just put on some new S02's last weekend and I'm really impressed with them. I want to get in an AutoX with them becuase they seem pretty quiet at the limits and I'd like to get to know better what they sound like as they lose traction.
